Description

Enhance the OpenMRS 3 (O3) Reference Application by implementing age-based range alerts to improve clinical decision support.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • The system triggers alerts when a recorded value is outside the expected range based on the patient's age.

Note to self/others: @ibacher gave a heads up that “this ticket will need to be converted into an epic. It's not just frontend work. We also probably need to change both the REST and FHIR2 modules to support the age-based ranges as well.”

Backend end work done but there is more that needs to be done on the front end. The recommendation is to have this during the next sprint.

kindly chime in and share more context and approach on this work. How will age-based ranges (Isaih’s work) be leveraged? We need more description so that it’s clear to whoever is going to pick this ticket.
