The reporting module already supports the ability to pass a widgetConfiguration into a parameter. However, this is not currently usable for the following use cases:

1. It is not possible to pass this into a report definition that is configured via a yaml descriptor

2. It is not possible to use this configuration within the reportingui run report page to limit string parameters to a specific list of options.

This ticket aims to solve those issues.
