NGO Updates
- We received agreement from IU to move forward with the NGO
- We're waiting for Indiana University President, Michael McRobbie to approve IU as a supported organization
- Attorneys notified us that we can transfer properties after the filing and approval of the IRS 1023 form (tax exempt status)
- Paul and Burke are waiting for their conflict of interest forms to go through the committee at Indiana University
- We contacted several foundations who can provide management services (bookkeeping, insurance, etc) at a reasonable cost for nonprofits
Hackathon Updates
- This will be in the training space in Kigali
- People are staying in the hotels they already planned to stay in for now
Conference Updates
- Scholarships are going out
- Theme of meeting: Scaling up / Country Scale ups
- Andy - put this on the wiki and propose a topic time on it
- Still find it beneficial to have site visits on Thursday
