How to create a Test Cycle

How to create a Test Cycle

In order to create a test cycle you need to have an OpenMRS ID. If you do not have one please follow this link.

  1. Go to the testing dashboard at https://issues.openmrs.org/browse/RA/?selectedTab=com.thed.zephyr.je:pdb_cycle_panel_section
On the right side click 'Create New Cycle' to add a new Test Cycle.

  2. Fill -in 'Name', 'Description' and 'Environment' fields, and the 'Build' field if the Test Cycle concerns a specific build

Name of the cycle should indicate what kinds/purpose of test cases it contains e.g. "OpenMRS 2.2 Release Tests" or "Automation Tests"
The 'Environment' field should contain testing environment for all Test Cases in the cycle.

  3. Click 'Save' to create your Test Cycle
