1. Documentation

  • The team has identified a technical writer who will be attending the documentation call to kick start the onboarding guide and all the community members are invited to attend the call.

2. GSOC 2021 updates cc @jennifer @mozzy @herbert24
- The GSoC bonding period has began and the is a thread on TALK where students are supposed to introduce themselves and talk about their project.

3. Review CI Builds cc @sharif

  • Plantform2.4 is still failing because of the low memory and Daniel is fixing the issue.

4. Quality Assurance Updates cc @sharif

  • The squad is tying to resurrect the failing tests though they are blocked by the failing server which Kawesi is fixing then they procced with the test.

5. OCL Squad Updates cc @suruchi

  • The sprint is ongoing and its a testing period for the previous sprint tickets.

  • Tomorrow the team will meet to discuss the sprint tickets for the next month.

  • Work on the user guides and other minor fixes.

  • Herbert, Christine and Sharif had a meeting last week on the way forward on the RefApp release process.

  • Apparently they are releasing new modules versions which will run for 2 weeks.

  • Herbert to reach out to the community on the release timeline.
