  • Update from PIH in Rwanda

    • Getting feedback on the interface from data managers

    • Plan on a Monday 9/18 launch

  • RG to take on form import/export forms ??

    • Single file export, xsn file + data xml file

    • Data xml file includes:

      • Concept data

      • Field data

      • FormField data

    • Import process checks concepts against current concepts

    • Import forces user interaction when concepts not found

  • Patient Summary

    • Derived concepts needed by RG to complete patient summary. Burke working towards finishing

    • RG's deliverable: very specific 1 page paper summary

    • Can we use one data output and 2 stylesheets? One stylesheet for screen display, one stylesheet for printing

    • Summary backed by a Report backed by Derived Concepts (backed by Arden soon)

  • Internationalization:

    • PIH needs the Peruvian English->Spanish translators to start

    • Main languages will just be put in the webapp

  • The concept of 'Voiding' in the system needs to become 'Deleting'

  • Burke to make executive decision on privilege ids: privileges/roles will get ids – but will not be accessible from the webapp or api

  • Christian to look into jax-ws for web services

Consider giving role and privilege tables an autonumbered primary key as integer. We would need to constrain role and privilege names to be unique & indexed, so we could still refer to roles and privileges by name within code, but inside the API use something like SELECT FROM role WHERE name = ?.
