Summer Projects Page:

Discussions about the summer project page. Burke asked that everyone go ahead and make the wiki pages for their projects. Clear up and make sure your goals are listed. We need to have a clear understanding about what they are trying to accomplish over the summer. Everyone discussed a little about what they and their interns will be working on.

Main Agenda Items:

• Detailed discussion of each summer intern project and making attempts to coordinate efforts

• Review of intern expectations (bi-weekly blog posts, code submissions ~1x/week)

Paul's specific update:

• Met up with Sashikanth online

• Started initial expectation setting process -> review of initial proposal, getting him to write up his intent, OpenMRS understanding in plain words on his blog

• Goal is to not create a fancy, single widget as much as a toolkit of functionalities which can be reused depending upon the workflow

• Talked about module architecture, first goal is to make a hello world modification to OpenMRS

• Will do a bit of research on open source vis frameworks
