Users guide

Order test 

In order to order a test for patient, first search for a patient from the EMR home page.  On the patient dashboard, select "Patient Orders" to order a lab test.

Add tests:  All the patient orders will appear in the list.  To order labs, select "Add Lab Orders"

Choose the category of the test or panel.  User can prioritize the test and remove all/some.  When the list is complete, select "Sign and Save".

Test results (entry)

From the home page, select the "Labs" icon.

On the Lab Test Results page,  all labs are listed.  It will indicate the status (ordered or reported).  Search by patient (name, ID, etc), status (ordered or reported), within a certain date range, or test type.

Select an order to enter the lab results for that test. Specimen and result details can also be added.

View Test results

From the patient's clinician-facing dashboard, select "View Lab Results"
