What this module does
This is a radiology Orders module taking advantage of the order facility within OpenMRS to create a demographics server that communicates with dcm4chee modalities using hl7 messages. Our specific use case is to eliminate the human error that occurs when there is double manual entry of patient demographics into a 2 different systems.
This module implements ORM-001 hl7 messages. Read more about these here :
