Overview

A visit task is a procedure to be done on a patient during a visit, that needs to be tracked. Such tasks could include;  give food, change dressings, administer medicine, preparation for surgery etc. The Visit Tasks module allows for entry of tasks to be performed on a patient during a visit. The tasks are created as free-text entry or selected from a list of predefined tasks. Only OpenMRS privileged users and/or admin has the ability to create this list of predefined tasks. A user is required to create a task on the visit page by typing in on an empty textbox or by choosing from a list of predefined tasks.

The created task will automatically appear as a checkbox on the visit tasks list. The task list will be filterable based on status i.e All, Open, Closed, Voided. A privileged user will be able view a list of tasks on the patient's visit page. Tasks can be closed once they are finished by checking the adjacent check-box.
