Adding generic templates for ADT messages

Currently, the HL7Query module only provides ORUR01 message support. ADT messages are used to transfer information related to patients. We will consider adding generic templates to support the creation of ADT messages in the future.

The advantage of creating ADT messages is that many of the sub templates already created for the ORUR01 message can be easily re-used to build the ADT message structure.

Major milestones of adding this support would be,

  • A) Plan which segments would be created from scratch, and which would be re-used
  • B) Sketch out the sub templates to be created aknew, and obtain sign off on each segment
  • C) Create the Groovyscript templates and add them to the HL7Query database
