Release Notes 1.9.2

Overview

• OpenMRS 1.9.2 represents revision e9813cd65929bfb18decd603c1d832a1954e93e1

This is a maintenance release for OpenMRS 1.9.x, which fixes several bugs and adds a few features including:

• E-mail as username, see settings (formerly global properties 1.8 and below)
• Module Hibernate Annotated Classes
• Improvements to the Order data model
• Mechanism for modules to execute code in a daemon thread

Database Changes

There is one database change between OpenMRS 1.9.1 and 1.9.2:

• Adding urgency column to orders table
• Create test_order table
• Rename settings (formerly global properties 1.8 and below)  autoCloseVisits.visitType to visits.autoCloseVisitType

Bundled Modules

The Logic module is bundled with OpenMRS 1.9.2 and is marked as core. It can be upgraded, but can not be removed:
