By default, when a user visits the "patient" page, they will in fact see the core "patient" page, which is a generic patient dashboard. You may override this, for example to say that when a user logged in as a "Care Provider" visits the "patient" page, they actually see the "providerPatient" page. You can configure this from the administration pages.
