When you install the OpenMRS Standalone, you are given a choice between three configurations. If you are uncertain which configuration to use, we will try to provide some more information here to help you decide.

A developer who wants to install a test system in order to demonstrate or evaluate her new module
An implementer interested in exercising some new or changed features within OpenMRS on their own machine without affecting their production and/or staging environments
Someone working on a project that interacts or integrates with OpenMRS and wants a sample instance of OpenMRS against which to work
