For many different clinical areas, from general outpatient / walk-in centers and primary care, to many different kinds of Specialist/Consultant Clinics, to Inpatient Department Care, to highly specialized treatment centres like oncology. Virtual Map: The OpenMRS “Atlas”
For an interactive map built with data from some of our implementation sites, visit: https://atlas.openmrs.org . More details on the Atlas project are here. However, as of 2024, the Atlas module is not as actively maintained or used by implementers. This is something we hope to improve soon. For now, much of our useage and site number collection is manual.

Countries: Where is OpenMRS 3.0 (O3) currently used?
Kenya:
by Palladium-Kenya, for HIV care and OPD/whole-of-facility - total 860 (142 site-wide), including in a L5 (county referral) hospital with average daily workload of ~ 700 patients: OPD + specialized clinics. That facility uses billing module (collecting daily over 200,000 KSH (~$1,500 USD), most payments use the mobile money/mPesa integration). The stock module is also used fully.
