OpenMRS Atlas

Overview

The OpenMRS Atlas is a website on which members of the OpenMRS Community can register their site(s).  The Atlas serves not only to let the world know about your site, but also help sites to discover other implementations in their region.  The OpenMRS Atlas began as a manually managed list of sites.  With Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2011, the Atlas Module was created to allow implementations to join the Atlas from within OpenMRS.  During GSoC 2014, both the module and the Atlas website were refactored to allow community members to add and manage their sites directly through the website as well as through the module.  For more information about Atlas Module, see the Atlas Module page.

Troubleshooting

You want to recover control of an existing marker

Create a ticket on the Helpesk, with this information:

  • Your OpenMRS ID

  • Marker name in the Atlas

  • Explanation of who you are, your role, and why you should have control of the marker.  If you know who was managing the marker previously, then including their contact information will make verification easier.
