This version of the OpenMRS Platform is a maintenance release for OpenMRS Platform 1.11.0 that follows 1.11.1, which fixes some bugs, it is much prepared to be behind the next OpenMRS 2.2 release than was 1.11.1

 

What's New?

We have solved three bugs from 1.11.1 and added no new features, still there are no database changes between this version and 1.11.1.

For the time being, we are in an awkward phase, where the legacy UI remains within the OpenMRS Platform and the new OpenMRS UI has not fully replaced the legacy UI. As a result, many implementations will continue to use the platform without the new web application and people will continue to be confused by the naming of "OpenMRS Platform". We are working hard to resolve this by OpenMRS 2.2 (or, worse case, OpenMRS 2.3), when implementations will be able to upgrade into the new application and the legacy UI can be retired from the platform.

 Follow up fix that solves a bug introduced by: TRUNK-4315

 

Who is this release meant for?

This Release is most importantly prepared to run on a Reference Application instance of openmrs, This is the platform that we have prepared to run OpenMRS 2.2, however you can still obtain it as a legacy application by using the standalone download.
