WHAT IS THE OPENHMIS PROJECT?

"Hospital Management Software for Low-Resource Settings" 

The OpenHMIS project is developing and piloting a high quality, affordable HMIS software package in a low-resource African health care setting that can simultaneously administer both:
  • The business management needs; and
  • The clinical data needs (using the OpenMRS platform) of African health care institutions.
