On This Page

The focus of this page is the Navigation Bars.

For reference see the prior page: App's Major Spaces

Background

Global Navigation Bar

The global navigation bar sits at the top of the application.

1. It helps redirect the user back to the HOME page. From the Home page the user is able to move to their next patient, or access other key parts of the application such as reporting.

2. It also notifies the user of who is logged in, by showing the user's initials/or/avatar. This is valuable on multi-use devices to help ensure that the correct clinician is logged in during documentation. The user can also log-out by selecting the avatar.

Workspace Navigation Bar

A scrollable tab bar provides access to the workspace sections.

Patient Chart Navigation Bar

A scrollable tab bar provides access to all parts of the patient chart.

Patient Banner

The patient banner contains the user's ID information. It is available in different sizes (small, medium, large) depending on situation.
