Procedure - Operation Theater Module

A procedure is the entity that encapsulates an operation theater activity within the module. It is used to store the particular activity's information including:

• Procedure name

• Description

• Intervention duration (in minutes)

• Theater preparation time (in minutes)

• Required in-patient stay period after the procedure (in days).

All of these fields are required to save a new procedure. They are saved in the system both as a procedure within the module and as a concept belonging to the procedure class within the Concept dictionary.
