Homepage

The reporting page can be found using the following path from the home page: Home -> Report 3.X.

As a user you will find all the reports that you have access to here. Access is determined by the admin and is based on your privilege level.

Reports page

We can divide the Reports section into several parts:

  1. Main table with all the data;

  2. Download reports button; (Only available if at least 1 row is checked)

  3. Run reports button;

  4. Report schedule button;

Main Table

In the Main table section, the user can find a list of all available Reports with checkbox next to each one, their Status, who and when Requested it. What is the Output format and Parameters and the Action column which allows user to Download, Preserve or Delete any report in the table.

Download reports

Here the user can "Download" the multiple reports at once and get it in the format that was defined on run. Once the report is downloaded, the user should see a positive message and the "Download report" button will disappear from the list.

Run reports

In the "Run Report" section, the user has multiple options depending on how the administrator configured the report. If the report has multiple options defined, the select field will become a dropbox and allows user to choose the Report, Location and Format. First the user needs to choose the Report, otherwise any other fields will be blank.



After all of the data has been provided, the "Run" button becomes active and changes its color. Also user can click on the Cancel button anytime and the Run Report section will be closed.



Once the report has been run. The Run Report tab should be automatically closed, a positive message should appear and the report should be available in the Main Table

Scheduled report page

Report schedule can also be divided into several parts:

  1. Main table with all the data;

  2. Edit & Delete Schedule buttons in the Actions column

Main Table

In the Main table section, the user can find a list of all available Reports, their Status, Schedule date, Next run date and the Action column which allows user to Edit & Delete Schedule

Edit & Delete Schedule

Here the user can "Edit" or "Delete" chosen schedule.

After clicking on the "Edit" button the Edit Scheduled Report section will open. the user can select one of the available option for date:

  1. If you'll select "Once" then the option to select the specific date from calendar widget should be available and the option to provide time in hh:mm 24-hr format; (Example below)

  2. If you'll select "Every day" then only the option to provide time in hh:mm 24-hr format should be available;

  3. If you'll select "Every week" then the option to select specific day from the checkbox should be available and the option to provide time in hh:mm 24-hr format;

  4. If you'll select "Every month" then the option to select First or Last day should be available and the option to provide time in hh:mm 24-hr format;

And the Output format from the select dropbox.



After all of the required data has been provided, the "Save" button becomes active and changes its color. Also user can click on the Cancel button anytime and the Edit Scheduled Report section will be closed.



Once the report has been scheduled. The Edit Scheduled Report tab should be closed, a positive message should appear and the Status of the chosen report should be changed from "Not Scheduled" to "Scheduled" in the Main table



After clicking on the Delete Schedule button, The confirmation dialog should appear with option to choose "No" or "Yes".



After confirming it (Click Yes), a positive message should appear and the Status of the chosen report should return to "Not Scheduled"  in the Main table
