Ben broke the wiki for most of this call.

  • Transaction Processing

    • Justin will create a concrete example of transactions in the scheduler from which we can apply higher-level transaction capability to the rest of OpenMRS

  • Application Context

    • We will defer worrying about splitting application from user/session context

    • DAO level should not perform business logic (e.g., should not use context to get user or locale)

  • Boolean will be changed to be represented as TRUE/FALSE

  • Hamish is requesting that the weekly call be moved one hour later to avoid conflicts with other meetings for him

  • TODO: Burke will add boolean convenience methods to concept service

  • TODO: Justin will make a concrete example of transactions at the application layer
