GSOC | @Suthagar Kailayapathy @Moses Mutesasira | GSOC is under the final phase of handing in their final work. The mentors are also supposed to give in their final evaluation, then Google will give a response later. |
Platform Release updates | @Jennifer Antilla @CLIFF GITA | Last week was mainly dedicated to running tests most of which were successful and there a few blockers which will be addressed before the end of this week. More community members are invited to help out on the testing. |
OCL for OpenMRS updates | @Grace Potma | Tests have been run in the previous week with the QA. There is good progress with a few blockers which will be addressed soon. A talk thread to be made by Jennifer about how to make unit tests. |
GSOD updates | @Herbert Yiga, @grace nakiguli | GSOD is right now on bonding level with two projects. One is about the Extending User Friendly Github Documentation for REST API, another about Improving OpenMRS Technical Documentations for New Developers. Technical writers who were not selected by google were reached out to, in order to find out if they can continue with the projects they had applied for with the documentation team. |
About openmrs persona |
@ Grace Potma | A draft idea of openmrs persona doc which is intended to guide community members on who are the different community members, how they can be helpful in different squads and teams, and how they can also be supported by the community is under development. It will highligh the different persons and their responsibility so that it becomes easy for anyone who may need to get help from such a person or to support him/her to have a clear page from which to start. It will even become very easy for squads to reachout to members with more skills for help. |

Reference App updates | @Sharif Magembe | Sharif has been testing out some modules. Before the end of the month, there will be more testing done with the QA team. The final release is expected to be in February. Sharif to create a thread on running the tests on Friday. |
